February PetBox.
Yes, February is the month of love and though you should spoil your fur baby every month, show them EXTRA love this month. Why not? Well, I am happy to announce that Lincoln and I are PetBox’s newest Brand Ambassadors and we will be unboxing a PetBox each month and letting you all know what we think of it! Lincoln being elated about this is truly an understatement.
Packed with Goodies!
This month’s box came with really cool products! A lot of yummy ones that Lincoln got to sample and some really great toys that he fell in love with. You can see him sitting patiently so I could snap this picture and so that he could get into all the goodies! He’s sporting a new hoodie that he got for Valentine’s Day from his Auntie too. Can we say totally spoiled?
Happiness and Glee.
That is what I feel every time that I’ve received the PetBox. I know that each and every time I get products in the PetBox, I know that I’ll have peace of mind feeding treats and food to my pup or let him play with toys that come inside. I know that the edibles and treats are safe.
February’s box was well-rounded and contained a few of his favorite things. Things to snuggle with, chew on and one of his most favorite things in the world–peanut butter! PetBox is really making it easy for me to earn brownie points with my furboy, that is for sure!
Wet Food Vs. Dry Food?
This is something that we have discussed as pet parents. We often worry that Lincoln is not drinking enough, some days he can drink his whole bowl and other days he doesn’t want to drink at all. Our vet has suggested that we supplement, not only for the hydration bonus but, the nutrient bonus.
When it comes to health, my kids are the most important. Which means I will purchase and serve them natural foods that are good for them and with Lincoln, it is no different. We want him to have the very best. That includes natural, organic and nutritional foods.

Pet Greens Treats.
Now, this was a brand that we were familiar with! We have religiously used their Pet Treats to aid us in training Lincoln. But, we had no idea that they made a jerky type of treat. They are all-Natural and Grain-Free and are made with 90% real meat and organic wheat grass. Wheat grass provides green nutrients to help curb chewing on chemically treated grass . . . or worse!
They are only 3.5 calories each and since frenchies tend to get really stocky, we want to keep Lincoln slim and healthy. This does the trick, well, he does the tricks and reaps the rewards! He actually loved these more than their little heart-shaped treats, this one had more meaty flavor I assume. At least it smells like it!
Old Mother Hubbard’s Treats.
The Bits of Love P-Nuttier were Lincoln’s absolutely favorite. I had been meaning to buy him some from Old Mother Hubbard’s because I have heard that all dogs love them. When they appeared in our February PetBox, I was stoked and Lincoln was elated of course. Peanut Butter is one of Lincoln’s most favorite snacks and a treat made of PB, he’s a happy boy!
Old Mother Hubbard knows that love is in the air—you can tell your pooch, “I Love You” with these Old Mother Hubbard Bits of Love P-Nuttier natural dog treats. These adorable heart-shaped, oven-baked snacks taste of Peanut Butter & Molasses. They actually look and smell appetizing, shh–don’t tell anyone I said that!
Let’s Play!
Lincoln loves his stuffies, when he saw this hippo and snail hybrid, he just wanted to lick and chew on it. The plush is very soft and you can squeeze it and it will let out a squeak. As with any toy, supervision is always required and it has held up to his teething gums and sharp teeth.
I always look out for pieces that may fall off stuffies but, the Topsy Turvies toy has not produced such things so far. Lincoln has loved playing fetch with it (or trying to) and using it as a pillow to nap on.
Zippy Paws!
This cute little dragonfly from Zippy Paws makes Lincoln happy! It squeaks and the wings crinkle. It is another soft plush that is perfect for small dogs like Linc. He has especially taken to chewing on the wings and all you hear is crinkle, crunch, crinkle. The shape allows him to hold it perfectly in his paws to chew and to rest his chin on.
Jump and Tug!
This was one that he spent a lot of time with. In his obedience class, his trainer suggested a tug toy and this one is heavy-duty and perfect to pay tug with Lincoln. It is from PetStages and its innovative, twisted shape made with rubber and rope helps remove soft tartar and massage gums while dog chews on it! Lincoln loved chewing and tugging at the rope and the rubber must have been great on his gums because he went at it!
